Hello Moms,

I know I have not been doing a lot of baby food recipes these days. Fruit is one of the most nutritious foods, and it adds essential vitamins and minerals to your child’s diet.

Baby food is easy to make with very little species or seasoning. So here are the lists of fruits that can be given after 6 months. As babies below 6 months should only be fed with breast milk. Fruits can be given as juice, mixed with yogurt as a smoothie, or boiled. It totally depends on your baby’s ability to eat.

1. Apples – pureed, juice milk shakes or big pieces for teething babies

“An Apple a Day” as the old saying goes is indeed good for health. Apple is truly a wonder fruit and is also one on your infant’s first food.

2. Avocodes – mashed

A wonderfully healthy fruit. Great as a first food for baby.

3. Apricots

Apricots are high in Beta Carotene, Vitamin C, and Lycopene. A wonderful addition to baby’s diet.

4. Mashed Bananas

Bananas are an excellent source of nutrition and as such, are another perfect fruit to be one of the baby’s first foods.

5. Grapes

Grapes are another fruit packed with vitamins and even calcium. Mashed grapes mixed with other foods are great for babies.

6. Mango – very little quantity mashed, milkshake or yogurt smoothie

Mango contains vitamin K is one of the cup not to mention all the other nutrients the amazing fruit has.

7. Pureed Peaches

Peaches are known to have a diuretic effect and also are a natural laxative.

8. Plums – mashed

One thing is that all in varieties of plums have in common is that they are very nutritious. Plums are high in fiber, low in cholesterol, sodium free and rich in vitamin A and Vitamin C.

9. Papaya – again another fruit which is healthy but has to be given in moderation

Papaya is a very nutritious fruit. They contain high amounts of vitamin C, Vitamin A, and even Vitamin E. Papayas are also a good source of fiber and folic acid.

10. Pears – cook the pear and mash

Pears are gentle on the tummy and thus are wonderful for babies who may be suffering from Reflux.
